SFI® Certification
LP is committed to meeting the requirements of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI). SFI is a comprehensive system of principles, objectives and performance measures addressing the perpetual growing and harvesting of trees along with long term protection of wildlife, plants, soil and water quality. Adhering to SFI helps ensure that the wood used in our products comes from well managed forests.
We adhere to the SFI standard throughout our forestry operations in North America and use it to guide our actions concerning sustainable forestry. Independent third party certification to SFI complements our sustainable forestry program.
