Moulding

Design Glossary

  1. Chair rail is used to define the lower section of the wall. It adds an elegant touch, creating a dividing line that gives you the ability to design contrasting or complementary paint schemes, or even paint and wallpaper schemes.
  2. Even the most basic LP® Moulding profile can help define and decorate the walls of a room. Our pre-finished baseboard is a beautiful starting point for any room.
  3. Picture frames add another dimensional element to the room. By placing them horizontally or vertically, you can create more visual interest. They provide the effect of paneling or give you the opportunity to create visual interest by accentuating the inside of the frame with paint or wallpaper.
  4. You can accent walls and paneling with decorative features, or provide a more formal and stately look to your room.
  5. Gives a smooth curved surface to inner corners.
  6. Accent any standard 42” door opening with an LP door trim kit. Pre-cut fluted casing and corner blocks are packaged together for easy, miterless installation. Makes a perfect first project!
  7. Next you can top off a room, literally, with crown moulding. Crown mouldings add height and drama, providing a decorative transition between the wall and the ceiling that can add grandeur to any room.
  8. Create a more complete look by framing in your favorite mirror with complementary baseboard or casing. The frame adds visual depth and interest, and provides a more built-in look.
