Easy Installation
Panels can be cut and drilled the same as regular OSB and installed in a vertical or horizontal orientation, provided that allpanel edges are supported and fastened to wall framing or blocking. LP NovaCore® is only to be used as wall sheathing and as specified in our installation instructions.

How It's Made
To create LP NovaCore® Thermal Insulated Sheathing, a 7/16-inch OSB panel is combined with a layer of Owens Corning Foamular® NGX™ XPS Foam board designed for thermal efficiency. Owens Corning foam doesn’t absorb water, offering a long term R-value that increases with cooler temperatures without concern of degradation. XPS foam combined with OSB sheathing creates durable NovaCore panels designed for use as wall sheathing.
