The Lutron HomeWorks QS

The HomeWorks QS by Lutron is designed to monitor and control multiple systems in the home, including lighting, shades, HVAC and appliances, according to its manufacturer. The total home control system features applications for the iPhone® and iPad®, which Lutron claims can help homeowners save money by greatly reducing energy consumption in the home.

Lighted Level from Swanson

Swanson, the manufacturer of the Savage® Lightning 9-inch torpedo level, claims its product combines professional-quality materials that are easy to use and affordable with the power of LED technology that reflects light in even the darkest spaces. The aluminum level includes industrial-strength acrylic block vials and neodymium magnets, producing a maximum holding stregth.

BuildingBlok Pro for Mobile

According to BuildingBlok LLC, their mobile application BuildingBlok Pro is an easy to use, Web-based construction management tool. The application, available for iPhone and iPad, allows the user to collect and view punch list items, daily reports, blueprints, RFIs, and more from the construction site and share them with the rest of the people involved on the construction project. The application will also be available for Android™ users this fall.
