LP Building Solutions Major Supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville for 2019 Jimmy & Rosalyn Carter Work Project
Nashville-based LP Building Solutions provides $100,000 donation, including high-performance LP products, and 40 volunteers in partnership with Habitat to build safe, affordable homes.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 4, 2019) – LP Building Solutions, a proven leader in innovative, high-performance building solutions, is donating $100,000 to support Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville for hosting the 2019 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work project that will build 21 new homes in Nashville beginning next week.
The LP Foundation has made a $50,000 donation to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville and the company is donating another $50,000 in LP building products to help construct safe and affordable new homes in the north Nashville community of Park Preserve, a 42-acre Habitat-developed neighborhood that will serve 175 families when complete.
“At LP Building Solutions, providing safe and affordable housing are key priorities for our company and our employees,” LP CEO Brad Southern said. “We’re pleased to team up with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville and the Carter Work Project to address the important need for affordable housing in Nashville.”
Southern will be one of 40 LP employees from the global company’s Nashville headquarters volunteering at the build site Oct. 7-11. In addition, LP is matching employee contributions dollar-for-dollar to Habitat up to $1,000.
