2020 Idea house: Norwalk, Connecticut

The sixth annual Idea House brought This Old House to Norwalk for a distinctive modern farmhouse featuring board and batten style siding with an attached barn-style portion. LP SmartSide products allowed the designer and builder on the project to customize their approach and create a unique take on a historical style.

For its fifth annual Idea House, This Old House modernized an 1840s Greek Revival home in New Canaan, Connecticut. LP SmartSide products fit the project’s historical needs, aligning with key architectural features of the project while bringing advanced durability to the build.
