Building Industry Professionals Expect Business to Grow in 2014
Houzz, the leading platform for remodeling and design, recently issued a survey to building industry professionals to gauge their expectations of growth in the coming year. According to Professional Remodeler’s summary of the findings, business is expected to be good.
The “Houzz Residential Design & Renovation Outlook,” report, the first of its kind from the online resource, was based on data provided by over 6,500 service providers, including builders, architects, remodelers, landscape professionals and interior designers. From one-man shows to large firms, professionals are “bullish on growth.”
“These findings are consistent with other leading industry indicators forecasting healthy growth for our industry,” said Liza Hausman, vice president of community for Houzz. “People are more confident about putting money into their homes, and feedback from our professional community shows that’s translating into more business for home pros around the country, from architects to general contractors and from sole proprietors to large firms.”
