Cleaning & Maintenance Tips

Below, we've provided two simple checklists for cleaning and maintenance that will help you keep your siding looking beautiful.

Cleaning

  • At least once a year, visually inspect the condition of the siding.
  • To clean, use a cloth, sponge or soft brush and a bucket filled with a solution of mild detergent and water, then rinse.
  • Do not use a pressure washer.
  • Use a solution of three parts water to one part white vinegar to remove light mold and mildew stains.
  • Never use harsh abrasives or solvents on your siding; these can damage the surface or paint.
