The LP Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers a variety of services and resources 24 hours a day, seven days a week. At no cost to employees, LP provides them and their families support to handle real-life circumstances, manage their well-being, and move forward with confidence.
LP also provides a variety of health and welfare benefits to its employees. These benefits range from health, dental and vision to pet insurance, tuition assistance programs, and paid leaves of absence. LP strives to create a robust benefits package to attract and retain talented individuals.
In times of need, we support each other through an employee emergency support fund called the LP Cares Fund. It is funded by LP employees through tax-deductible donations, matched dollar-for-dollar by our granting organization, the LP Foundation. Since its inception in 2014, over 550 employees and their families have been supported by the LP Cares Fund.
LP is proud to offer college scholarships to the eligible children of its employees. These scholarships can be renewed annually to cover the cost of up to four years of full-time undergraduate study at an accredited institution, community college, or vocational-technical school. Since 2001, LP has awarded over $2 million in scholarships to over 400 students.
LP also encourages and supports continuous learning and improvement through formal education so that employees can improve or maintain job-related skills and enhance their ability for career advancement within LP. We are pleased to offer eligible employees reimbursement for 80% of educational expenses up to $5,250 annually through the LP Tuition Assistance Program.
The LP Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) allows employees to buy discounted shares of LP stock through accumulated payroll deductions. By enrolling in the program, employees expand their investment in the future of the company, giving new meaning to our guiding principle “Think and Act Like Owners.” An ESPP with an embedded discount offers an easy, efficient, and rewarding way to build employees’ financial security for the long term.
At LP, we are proudly committed to the highest level of legal and ethical standards in conducting our business around the world. The LP Code of Business Conduct and Ethics formalizes this commitment. LP meets and frequently exceeds labor standards in all the jurisdictions where we operate.
LP uses a transparent and structured review process that grades employees on a five-part scale. This helps us recognize exceptional employees and offers guidance for improvement so that employees can develop to their full potential. Assisting employees to chart their future and encouraging everyone to exhibit defined leadership behaviors at LP is one of the ways we work to retain the best people. We also offer competitive benefits that embrace our employees as individuals with lives outside work.
It all adds up to a dynamic, performance-oriented culture that rewards success—the kind of culture that supports our ability to recruit and retain the best talent in a competitive marketplace.
LP’s corporate office utilizes a hybrid workplace model—a blended approach to working whereby many LP Nashville employees split their time between the office and remote worksites. We believe this strengthens our culture and further enables our ability to deliver top-tier performance. Corporate employees are empowered to shape where and how they work, so they can achieve the best possible results. Our focus is on outcomes, not merely the time spent in the office.
